ABOUT ME

Dr. Ferriola (she/her) has been working with children, teens, and adults for over 15 years. In her work, she meets the client where they are and takes an empathic, individualized, and holistic approach to create a safe environment that helps clients gain insight and cultivate change in order to overcome their identified difficulties.

In order to best meet each client's individualized needs, Dr. Ferriola draws from a wide range of treatment modalities. She has clinical interests in treating anxiety and mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, behavioral difficulties, grief, and relationship and family discord. In addition, Dr. Ferriola aims to explore and address family systems in her work in order to better understand the bigger picture of the presenting problems.

Dr. Ferriola received her doctorate from Widener University and is currently a licensed clinical psychologist in Delaware. She has received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Mindfulness-Based Play Family Therapy.

Dr. Ferriola is the author of the book "Love Legacy: A guidebook for families anticipating the death of a parent."
